UNCLE FROM MOYALE

My family is migrating from the Rift Valley town of Nakuru to the semi-arid Moyale in the north of Kenya following my father's retirement. Here, I will be meeting an uncle I am not enthusiastic about. When we finally arrive in Moyale, I am able to meet my uncle in circumstances way different from what I would have fancied, in a harsh welcome to the new, uninspiring environment.
