Anything for good tea

As a journalist, I have caught wind of the story that a wealthy tea farmer of great repute is giving away most of his land to the community around him, which lives in poverty, and I travel for hours with my cameraman and driver to interview him on this unexpected development. It turns out he is a shrewd old man whose words, said in jest, could be a marketing gimmick, or a scheme to cause excitement around him for his own fun, or a way to gauge people's reactions and therefore know what course of action to take as the last owner of the farm.
