The Taxonometer

An engaging piece, with good and realistic narrative throughout. It’s well constructed with an easily identifiable central theme which gives coherence to the work. But again, it lacked that ‘oomph’ factor- the unexpected turn in the story’s direction in the closing section. It can be subtle, and doesn’t need to be gruesome, for example like The Fly, but it needed something to sharpen its closing section. But a very good read, and definitely recommended.
