Very lucid little story with good dialogue that moved it in the right direction. I do think it suffered a little from not knowing whether it wanted to be a straight horror story or a humorous piece: it had the potential to be both but sort of fell between two stools for me. That said, it was enjoyable, although the ending seemed to fall short of what it could have been and I found myself wanting to write an alternative ending but this was very much my genre.
