A 20 year old lad, Maddox Oduol, finds himself caught up in the 'Saba Saba Day' (7th of July) multi-party demand riots of 1990; just a couple of years after his parents have passed on from AIDS - and with a Killer Cop determined to cut Maddo's own young adult life at its bud on that hot Saturday of 'Saba Saba' Day, down by a river trail just off Kamkunji.
