I wasn't sure what to make of this to start with - it has a curious metafictional/stream of concsciousness style that makes it difficult to follow, made more difficult by a lack of punctuation and typos. However I'm glad I stuck with it - in fact the hurried style of the prose dragged me along with it despite my initial reservations. The author's credentials speak for themselves and the story would have merited a five star rating had it not been for the typos and too many run-on sentences. Nice job, however.

This author's style is sophisticated, clever, professional- he clearly writes for a career. A genuine observation: his work, and particularly this story, remind me of the best of John Grisham. There's a pace and originality to this work, a complexity, which makes this story a great read. If he hasn't already done so, he needs to put together a collection of short stories, similar to Archer's A Quiver of Arrows, and pitch it to an agent.
