The chicken Dinner

This story had me hooked from the first sentence. It brought Australia to life for me, (I've never been) and again, it was entertaining. Thankyou for a pleasant morning break reading a few of your stories. x

With the author's obvious credentials, a review is pretty superfluous but, as a rain-lashed Brit, I was immediately transported Down Under through the exquisitely visual writing in this short story. My only criticism is that I would have preferred to see the ending a little more sinister. As it stands it is almost light hearted but it is still a cracking good story and well worth the read.

it was all right, well written but a bit of an anti climax, just my opinion though
