Interesting read,seems maternal instincts aren't as innate as we might easily believe.

I could feel the pain of the single mother as she brought fourth the baby. The pain of being left to carry the burden alone by the irresponsible would be father. I could also feel the joy a young one brings, the kind of joy that heals a broken heart.
