ARE YOU HERE YET

I wrote this for my dearest friend who sadly, lost the love of her life in May 2018. She had an incredibly hard time dealing with his loss so I asked if I may write a little story about them as a tribute. I explained the outline of what I was thinking. She readily agreed. Thankfully, she loved what I wrote and has said, for all it is bittersweet, it has eased her pain a little. She also said she would like others to read it, and asked that I post it on whatever sites I publish my stories. And so here is my heartfelt tribute to my very dear friends.
