As with the other stories posted by this author, this was well written with good pace
and polish in terms of presentation. But....it had the makings of an excellent longer story and the ending at the airport didn't quite meet up to the line of travel plotted for most of the story. The central character had, as the title suggests, several different lives. He and his wife had fastidious lifestyles- obsessively so. I was expecting- hoping- that these would all come together in the end with a major unravelling or revealing of parts of Rory's life he'd rather didn't come out into the open. For example, meeting his 'other partner' at the check-in. There could have been a complete collapse of carefully constructed lives in the blink of an eye- perhaps at the airport. But this didn't happen. It's not too late but the ending to this story could easily be written to give it more of a 'wow, I didn't expect that' effect.
